A commercial site for Apple products
The challenge: Upgrading and performing a design facelift to the existing site, also developed by the Pionet Group, as well as upgrading the site to be responsive, accessible and compatible with the design of the global Apple brand.
Maintaining a high level of design and innovation to align with the global Apple brand while preserving a high level of flexibility and ease in the SiteVision content management system
In addition, promoting the site in terms of SEO according to Google's guidelines, while upholding the speed, content and structure of the site.
The solution that was implemented: Following a significant design and specification process, (UI/UX) and iDigital's website was upgraded based on Pionet's SiteVision technology.
The site includes a marketing area that displays a great deal of information about Apple products, and an online store with a unique online shopping experience including an intuitive shopping basket.
All areas of the site were redesigned to a level of design and user experience compatible with those of the global Apple brand and include animation and spectacular effects while ensuring accessibility. In addition, a search mechanism that enables search by device, model and brand was implemented in order to lead the user to relevant information, for example: locating a phone case for the model of their specific device.
Integration of iDigital's bi-directional Priority system, with product inventor and price updates, was implemented in order to manage the display of products to the user in the online store an accessible and up to date manner.
In addition, an experts' area was created, displaying technical information in a user-friendly manner, including instructional videos, recent questions and answers, tips and information on devices operation.
